I make $10 an hour so it would take me 400 hours of work to pay for $4000.. I sure as hell would rather work 100 hours then 400 hours at home depot. I think people who say 100hrs is a lot are ****** who don’t want to work.
-
100 hours is not very much . thats like 2 and a half weeks of full time. It can be done over the summer. It’s worth $40 an hour . I’m all for it and if your not you must be a rich *****.
-
Oh you would not do it for $40 an hour? you must be rich. I work as well and will cut my work hours for this. I sure as hell don’t make $40 an hour and have no prob cutting my $10 hr job.
-
100 hours? Obama, you should know how busy a full time student is, especially if we have jobs and want to go to graduate school. I’m still an Obama supporter, but a hundred hours every year I’m in school isn’t happening.
-
Really, there’s no need to be immature about it and calling me retarded.
No it’s not that much but I don’t come from a rich family so it’s still $4000 that I get to save. -

What a total bullsht program. Mandatory public service program? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of volunteering. If the government stayed out of it, colleges would have to lower tuition in order to deal with the credit crunch and compete will community colleges.
-
Most students have to do community service in order to be accepted into college so I think this is a good rule. And believe it or not, 100 hours is A LOT!

I don’t **** Obama I feel sorry for him. I only **** what he stands for Socialism and his stand on
Taxes
Healthcare
our military
Iraq
Entitlement Reform
capital gains taxes
his wife’s disdain for America
his inexperience
his friends, Wright, Rezko, Farrakhan
His lies
His position on drilling to cut gas prices so the poor and downtrodden can’t drive to find jobs, get groceries and get to work.
I **** his hypocrisy
and how he has all of you in a trance unwilling to objectively look at facts. -

Did you all hear…McCain is inching ahead of Obama in the polls? I knew it would happen; I’m just amazed it happened so quickly.
I may be wrong, but I believe that white women are well aware that Hillary was thrown under the bus by Oprah and the black community. Isn’t there an old saying about a ‘woman scorned?’ : )

90% of the money will come from there. I don’t want to donate to the government so they can hand out my money as they see fit. Also, they act as if it was theres and take credit for doing a good job when really it’s my money that footed the bill. I’m always pissed off about the taxing everyone to give to some.

yeah and who is going to pay for this
RICH PEOPLE AND THE REAL MIDDLE CLASS -
Actually the rich do pay less taxes. About half as much. And the thing to remember about democracy and capitalism is that it will not work unless people are willing to give back to their communities.
The people who make the majority of the money work for companies that receive government aid, tax benefits, and subsidizations. It’s a 2 way street, the rich keep getting richer for a reason.
I agree, no tax credits(see my earlier post). I want everyone to pay the same taxes.
Neither 08!!!!!!!!!!

The Bush tax cuts are working! Higher income earners SHOULD pay less taxes.
People earning less than $250,000 are the ones WHO USE public schools, health clinics, and mortgages.
The middle class wants wealthy people to pay more taxes?!?!! Tax credits for college?
Forget it.
McCain 08!!!!!!

Did the worker come before the market? I think if anyone is focusing on the everyday realities of the majority and can present a suitable gameplan and has an insightful recent and earlier background has something to say and for us to listen.
He has to be the president mccains credit on integrity is close to minus amongst people who are aware in the plights and following course of action.

Yeah, because the “market” is doing such a great job of taking care of business.. a.k.a. screwing 95% of working class Americans up the ***. lol. Let me guess, you’re not low income are you?
-
“Tax Credit” Means the government taxes the entire population and gives that money to specific people because of their position. I don’t like it. Same with welfare and health care and a thousand other government programs. When he cuts taxes on gas for instance, that loss of income will raise some other tax. Whats really funny, is that people think he’s going to lower taxes. TH[]INK

this was already covered many times over the past 18 months. Obama paying his workers and ruining market principles.
